What a face! This is Amigo (a girl) and she is a 16 year old Yellow Naped Amazon Parrot.  Jon bought her when Corey (Jon's second child) was about six months old.  So Amigo  makes this lovely crying sound which she amplifies to deafening levels.  I know why Jon was so willing to give me the bird.  I guess he never forgave me for putting mayonnaise in his hair.

Ok, this spider is really no one's baby.  I am fascinated with spiders and spider webs. While we were enjoying Thanksgiving dinner 2004 with mom's aunt and uncle, Mary Lou and Farrell Butler of Houston, Texas, Robyn, Tim, Daniel Andrew, Tessa and I went for a walk on the grounds of the campsite.  I saw this and just had to have a picture.

On a more serious note, I've just seen some photos of what a Brown Recluse spider can do to a human.  I want to make SURE that all web surfers understand that I do not ever hold nor do I endorse anyone else holding spiders of any sort.  Spiders are to be seen from a very safe distance. (I'll post the photos on a separate page there is some apparent interest in seeing them.)

Here are the real babies, minus one.  I think Tim was working when we went to Mexico.  I was the sole "chaperone."  Luckily, we didn't stay too long and I was able to produce six children upon my return home, unfortunately they do not look anything like these children.  I don't know where these children are anymore.  But aren't they cute?  Well, if you see them tell them we said "hi!"  Of course, we still have Tim, hum maybe I should go to Mexico with him.

Here is Ryan.  He's very trendy.  We like that word, trendy, it's so trendy.  Ryan was showing me his Zoolander pose.  I think it's very trendy.
I haven't gotten an email from Ryan in quite some time.  I suppose I'll be hearing from him soon.

This picture was also taken in Edna during Thanksgiving 2004 and should cause you less stress, unless of course, you're a PETA member and are fearful that this was the main course.  There were so many deer but they were just not that willing for me to rush up and take their photographs.  <sigh>

As usual, Andrew was bemoaning his lack of face time on the website.  I told him the only pictures I have of him generally look like this.  Isn't this a lovely shot of Andrew's knuckles?  (I'm betting he'll learn to pose soon.)

These are my webmasters.  They are from left to right Q. T., Peridot, Sweet Pea and Dutch.  (The really scary thing is that I am 100% sure of who's who.)

"How do lovebirds build a website?" you ask.  First they discuss the plans with the site manager, then the site manager shreds the plans with which to make a nest.  Incidentally, the site manager's name is Her-B the Lovebird and she recently become a mother to one baby named Derby.

And speaking of lovebirds, this is Tessa, on the left and Kelsey on the right.  They can dance their way right into your heart!  Which usually works our well for them when they're shopping with Nana, Papaw is glad the other five are boys.

Sunset on South Padre Island.  'Nuff said!

This is Kodi.  He is in the pool in our backyard.  He is a Pomeranian, I've never seen a pom so taken with water.  He swims about three or four times a day.  My goal is to keep in in the pool rather than the lake.  The lake is purported to have an alligator in it.
